Boys don't necessarily need a lot of makeup: Arpit Ranka
Arpit Ranka, known for his roles as Duryodhana in Mahabharat and Kans in Radhakrishn, will soon be seen in the pan-India movie Kannappa. He believes in keeping makeup natural and feels that men don't need much makeup; it should be visually appealing."
He said, “In my opinion, boys don't necessarily need a lot of makeup. A light touch-up is fine, but it shouldn't be overdone. I've noticed that the old taboo against men wearing makeup has significantly decreased.”
“Nowadays, it's normal for men to wear makeup when they go out. I believe makeup should look as natural as possible because a natural look feels better and is visually appealing,” he added.   Asked about people wearing makeup even when they are out and about, Arpit said, “I don't usually go to parties, so I'm not really sure if people wear makeup or not at these events.”   Personally, he is not a big fan of makeup. He said, “Even during shoots, I prefer to keep my makeup minimal. I do have a makeup team, but they focus on creating specific looks rather than enhancing  a glow or appearance for the sake of it.”
