Mazher Sayed speaks about his character in Janani - AI Ki Kahani; “Sharing screen with Mouli is definitely a big reason to say yes to this

Sharing details about his role he says. ”I am playing Virat who is a scientist. The look is simple and classy. At home he is in jeans, trousers, shirts, a sweater on top and clean shaven - very simple and nice. His look is to cover up the actual conniving nature. Because he is actually an AI robot and a little psychotic in nature. I hope the complexity in the role will be liked by the audience.” Mazher shares because he will be playing this role opposite his real life better half actress Mouli Ganguly, that’s a big reason for him to take up this role.

He says, ”Sharing screen with Mouli is definitely a big reason to say yes. The role is challenging and has a lot of layers to it. I get to play the positive and the negative parts. It's like Jekyll and Hyde in front of the family. Virat is very positive, loving and a sweet guy. He is a simple person but in reality he is this AI robot who is negative and conniving, ready to destroy everything and get the information from Ira played by Mouli. I have given a lot of comic touch and I am having a lot of fun playing this character.”

The actor also adds, ”Sharing screen with Mouli feels like home because aisa lagta hi nahi hai ke I have come on shoot. We spend time with each other as well and get to experience a different character just not Mazher and Mouli but as Ira and Virat.“ The actor couple are married for quite sometime now and Mazher shares the main reason for their long successful innings. He says,”Definitely we complete each other but we also have our own individual strengths. We are like two pillars of a house little apart from each other but holding the ground. That's what I like to call my relationship and it just feels like yesterday that we met on the sets of "Kahin Kissi Roz" . I have written a short poem for her which is on my Instagram handle. It talks about our relationship "Meri Rooh ne teri Rooh se Baatien ki hai , hum to baadme mile phele inhone mulakaten ki hai". She really liked it. About the long innings, I don’t really count it as an innings and I feel as if every second that we spend with each other is god's blessings. I hope the innings keeps continuing - woh kehte hai na ke saath janmo tak sath rahe bas woh hi hai.”

Mazher also shares his special bonding with the producer duo Abhigyan & Mridul Jha. He says,”Abhigyan and Mrinal Jha are not producers to me. They are more like creative people. They are like family and they make you feel like a friend which is very important for an actor. They make you feel so comfortable that I hope this association goes a very long way. I hope Mirnal and Abhigyan become the biggest producers of television industry . They are very talented and very hard working and I really enjoyed working with them. On set Abhigyan gives me the freedom to play the part in full swing. He doesn't interrupt me, doesn't say anything. In fact, most of the lines are improvised, which he allows me to do. And this is the first time l'm playing a psychotic robot. I am not aware of any other psychotic robot has been portrayed in any other tv show.”
